I've been away several days moving. It is always harder to downsize; lots of storage units. It will however force us to go through things and purge. We spent six wonderful years in our house and ultimately what we will remember is the memories we made there, not that it ended in a short sale. All of us are ready to move on, even the kids, no one is sad. Next year with both kids off to college we will be empty nester's and no reason to have so much space. The house is ready for a different phase of someone else’s life. Onto new things, more writing, getting more books published, finishing others, I'm excited. Things forced upon us by circumstances we can't control are sometimes good, forced change. It reminds me that change is the only constant.
