The lot in Pinebrook was paid for when we arrived back in Park City, the plan was to build on it eventually, but we had to get started first. I broke into the Park City real estate market, as a loan officer, slowly and meanwhile Dennis’ business was also growing bit by bit. It wasn’t easy but we were keeping our head above water. I remember nights laying in bed praying that I would close this loan or that loan to give us a little breather, a little extra money. We had some savings when we got to town but that dwindled quicker than I planned. Day care was killing us and yet we both were trying our damndest to make it all work. Surprisingly the Park City market was doing pretty well. I knew with our recent venture to self employed it would be impossible to get a loan to build so we had to resign ourselves to waiting.
